Prior to founding Thompson Studio Architects Doug acquired a diverse range of experience; in Philadelphia and Washington DC as  lead designer and project architect on Institutional, Religious, Educational and Commercial structures and in San Francisco in the offices of William Turnbull Associates. Doug has over 35 years of design, project management and construction experience on many award winning projects.
